Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) is seeking a Senior Application Technologist to lead application development and support for our food ingredients portfolio. The role requires hands-on R&D, sensory and physicochemical analyses, and close collaboration with Sales to tailor solutions for clients.

You will present technical concepts, conduct trials at customer sites, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring safety and optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of R&D experience as a Senior Food Technologist within bakery, processed food, beverages, ice cream, confectionery, or related ingredient sectors
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related discipline
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
• Hands-on laboratory experience is essential
• Creative and innovative mindset

Responsibilities

• Application development work and providing customers' technical support
• Carry out application work and studies using client's Food Ingredients portfolio, performing sensory and physicochemical analysis
• Troubleshoot customers' problems and conduct trials at customer premises
• Develop innovative formulation concepts and prototypes with Sales ensuring solutions meet client expectations
• Present food ingredients and technical solutions through presentations, seminars, demonstrations, exhibitions, and innovation days
• Record all methods, tasks, and findings of assigned projects
• Maintain and liaise with necessary parties to ensure laboratory equipment is in optimal and safe working condition

Job Description

• Application Development work, providing customers' technical support
• Carry out application work/study in applications using the client's Food Ingredients portfolio, performing sensory and physicochemical analysis
• Troubleshoot customers' problems and conduct trials at customer premises when needed
• Develop innovative formulation concepts and prototypes based on market trends, business needs, and customer requirements, working closely with the Sales team to ensure solutions meet our clients' expectations
• Present food ingredients and technical solutions to customers through presentations, seminars, demonstrations, exhibitions, and innovation days, supporting Technical Services on customer-focused innovation projects
• Record all methods, tasks, and findings of assigned projects
• Maintain and liaise with necessary parties to ensure laboratory equipment is in optimal and safe working condition

Job Requirement

• Minimum 5 years of R&D experience as a Senior Food Technologist within bakery, processed food, beverages, ice cream, confectionery, or related ingredient sectors
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related discipline
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a high sense of responsibility
• Self-motivated individual with a positive, can-do attitude
