Job summary

CREW by HRNET is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support tender preparation and commercial activities in Singapore's construction sector. You'll review tender docs, compile unit rates and equipment costs, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and assist with variation orders and progress claims after contract award.

This role requires strong attention to detail and solid communication with senior management.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Singapore's construction industry, preferably with HDB exposure.
• Strong attention to detail; able to compile unit rates and construction equipment costs.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse tender documentation to ensure all details are covered.
• Work with technical teams to prepare cost estimates, take-offs, and man-hour projections.
• Obtain and consolidate quotations from local and overseas suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal teams on commercial costs, including insurance and site establishment.
• Participate in site visits and client meetings, and prepare information for tender negotiations.
• Support PMs with variation orders and progress claims, ensuring smooth handover after contract award.
