Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering / Building / Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in precast/construction.
• Knowledge of Security of Payment Acts.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-tender to post-contract stages and control costs.
• Monitor tender inquiries, analyze pricing, and prepare tender pricing analysis.
• Highlight deviations during tender stage and clarify with main contractors.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, cost estimation, and monitor variations.
• Prepare project budget for management’s approval after award.
• Coordinate site visits for pre-tender details.
• Organize kick-off meetings for awarded projects on schedule & procurement.
• Source pricing, perform cost comparisons, and discuss with management.
• Arrange tender interviews and negotiate prices with suppliers/subcontractors.
• Respond to subcontractors’ progress claims and issue payment responses under SOP.
• Manage monthly progress claims to customers and ensure timely responses.
• Close final accounts with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
