JET RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of metalworks and structural steel projects in Singapore.

You will prepare estimates, review BOQs, and oversee variations, claims, and final accounts. Candidates should have 5–8 years of QS experience, strong negotiation skills, and knowledge of Singapore construction practices. Proficiency in MS Office and QS software is required.

Formación

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 5–8 years of Quantity Surveying experience in construction, structural steel or metalworks.
• Strong knowledge of measurement, costing, tendering, contract administration and variation claims.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full quantity surveying and commercial aspects of metalworks and structural steel projects.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQ, budgets and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract docs to identify project requirements and risks.
• Manage variations, claims, progress payments, valuations and final accounts.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures to stay within budget.
• Quant take-offs and measurements for steel and metalwork packages.
• Review subcontractor accounts and certify progress claims.
• Negotiate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial matters.
• Assist in tendering and procurement activities including cost comparison.
• Provide commercial advice to Project and Management teams.
• Monitor contractual obligations and risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Prepare regular cost reports and commercial updates for Management.
• Maintain proper documentation for all commercial matters.
