BEIJING URBAN CONSTRUCTION GROUP CO., LTD. (Singapore Branch) is seeking a seasoned professional to prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for construction projects.

You will manage tender processes, evaluate bids, and monitor costs to keep projects within budget. The role involves site measurements, interim payments, final accounts, and contract administration including reviewing contracts and managing claims.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction sequences and material trends.
• Independent with excellent problem-solving skills, detailed and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for construction projects.
• Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
• Monitor project costs and track variations to stay within budget.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations for interim payments and final accounts.
• Liaise with Contractors, clients, and consultants on cost-related issues.
• Assist in contract administration, including reviewing contracts and managing claims.
• Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in contract management.
• Provide advice on cost-effective solutions and potential risks to senior management.
• Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts for project stakeholders.
