Job summary

BHCC Construction Pte Ltd invites a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join our project teams. You will prepare cash flow forecasts, value completed works, monitor variations and draft claim submissions, while providing cost and contractual support across pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages.

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
• Preferably with main contractor experience.
• Strong technical background with pre- and post-contract duties.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of cash flow forecast.
• Filing of variations and monitoring of project variations.
• Valuing completed works and filing progress claims and contract documents.
• Prepare interim valuation and sub-contractor certificates according to work completed.
• Monitor procurement process and attend site/technical meetings.
• Negotiate awarding letters/agreements/purchase orders to sub-contractors/vendors.
• EOT claims preparation and price comparison evaluation.
• Provide cost and contractual advice across pre-construction, construction and post-construction.
• Quantity take-off, cost estimation, tender submissions with deadlines.

Job description

• Preparation of cash flow forecast
• Filing of variations/ monitoring of project variations
• Valuing completed works, filing of progress claims and all other necessary contract documents administration works
• Prepare interim valuation and certificate of sub-contractors claims according to work completed and evaluate variation claims
• Monitoring of procurement process
• Attendance of site/technical meetings
• Source, negotiate preparation of awarding letters/agreements/ purchase order to sub-contractors/ vendors
• EOT claims preparation
• Evaluation of price comparison summary
• To work closely with the Project Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction, construction and post construction stage.
• Quantity take off, cost estimation, preparation of tender submission with specific deadline
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience. Preferably in public (HDB), private residential and mixed development projects.
• Working experiences with Main Contractor would be an advantage.
• Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre and post-contract duties
