Senior Quality Engineer — SQA & Process Excellence

Job summary

Molex is seeking a Senior Engineer in Quality (SQA) in Singapore to drive quality excellence across subcontractor manufacturing operations. You will lead strategic quality plans, resolve complex quality issues, and ensure compliance with quality management systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams and external partners to meet customer expectations and uphold Molex’s commitment to superior product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering or related discipline (Degree preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles.
• Proficient in QC core tools, SPC, 8D reporting, control plans, PFMEA, APQP.
• Knowledgeable in quality standards such as ISO 9001, TS16949, PPAP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key quality indicators and deploy IDI plans to meet goals.
• Lead the implementation of the SQA system and plant strategy for MXS.
• Conduct internal and external audits for conformance to requirements.
• Drive improvements in assembly/component processes and engage AQP early in product development.
• Provide disposition for rejects and block non-conforming stock when needed.
• Analyze quality data and coordinate improvement plans with internal teams.
• Create/update SOPs, inspection checklists, control plans, and SII.
• Prepare for customer, internal, and supplier audits.
