Job summary

Molex, a leading connector and interconnect solutions provider in Singapore, seeks an Engineer in Quality (MQA) to drive quality excellence across subcontractor manufacturing operations.

You will lead strategic quality plans, resolve complex issues, and ensure compliance with QMS while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to meet customer expectations and uphold Molex’s commitment to superior product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or diploma in Engineering with 5+ years in quality engineering.
• Proficient in QC core tools, SPC, 8D, PFMEA and APQP with ISO 9001/TS16949 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key quality indicators and drive plans to achieve goals.
• Execute high-level quality strategic plans.
• Lead analysis of daily process issues to improve scrap and yield.
• Disposition for non-conforming items and block suspect stocks.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on improvement plans.
• Create and update inspection SOPs, checklists, control plans and special instructions.
• Maintain QMS procedures and ensure compliance.
• Investigate customer complaints and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Plan and conduct routine audits for processes, customers and suppliers.
• Perform MSA (GR&R) on equipment and operators as needed.
• Implement error-proofing and process qualification plans.
