Job summary

RTX, a global aerospace and defense leader, seeks a Senior Quality Engineer for our ADaM Singapore site. You will act as the onsite quality focal point, strengthening the QMS, driving product and process quality, and leading continuous improvement across Operations, Engineering, Materials, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree in STEM and 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience with regulated QMS such as AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 or similar.
• Experience independently leading quality activities in a manufacturing environment with limited oversight.
• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis, corrective action, and structured problem solving.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Experience with SPC, MSA, Gage R&R, or other statistical quality methods.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems, particularly SAP, Solumina.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite Quality representative and partner with Operations, Engineering, Materials, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure products and processes meet applicable quality requirements.
• Lead and support maintenance and continuous improvement of the site's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with Collins Aerospace, AS9100, and ADaM requirements.
• Lead RCCA activities including containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, effectiveness verification, and prevention of recurrence.
• Support and lead quality activities associated with New Product Introduction (NPI), APQP, product qualification, and First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Manage the FAI process to ensure compliance with AS9102 and internal requirements.
• Establish and improve inspection and measurement processes, including planning, sampling, and GD&T application.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to implement process controls and SPC -> MSA methodologies.
• Lead MRB and nonconformance processes, ensuring timely containment and corrective action.
• Support escape management and customer/internal quality issue resolution.
• Develop, monitor, and communicate quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
