Collins Aerospace is a leader in technologically advanced, intelligent solutions that help redefine the aerospace and defense industry. With a comprehensive portfolio and deep technical expertise, we help customers meet the demands of the global market. Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. Collins Aerospace Additive Design and Manufacturing (ADaM) is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support our Singapore additive manufacturing facility. This role will serve as the onsite Quality focal point and will play a key role in strengthening the site Quality Management System (QMS), supporting product and process quality, and driving continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be an independent, collaborative problem solver who can effectively influence across Operations, Engineering, Materials, and Quality. This position will work closely with the Singapore and U.S. ADaM Quality organizations to implement quality processes, resolve issues, support new product introduction, and mature the site's quality capabilities.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as the primary onsite Quality representative and partner with Operations, Engineering, Materials, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure products and processes meet applicable quality requirements.
  • Lead and support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the site's Quality Management System in alignment with applicable Collins Aerospace, AS9100, and ADaM requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional problem solving and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, effectiveness verification, and prevention of recurrence.
  • Support and lead quality activities associated with New Product Introduction (NPI), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), product qualification, and First Article Inspection (FAI).
  • Manage the FAI process to ensure compliance with AS9102 and internal requirements.
  • Establish and improve inspection and measurement processes, including inspection planning, measurement strategies, sampling, and application of GD&T requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to develop and implement process controls and statistical methods, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), as appropriate.
  • Lead nonconformance and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, ensuring timely containment, disposition, risk assessment, and corrective action.
  • Support escape management and customer/internal quality issue resolution.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate quality metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the site's Measurement and Test Equipment (MTE) calibration program in partnership with equipment and process owners.
  • Analyze quality and inspection data to support fact-based decision making and process improvement.
  • Support implementation and optimization of quality-related workflows and transactions within ERP/MES systems, including SAP and Solumina.
  • Support supplier quality activities, including supplier issue resolution, corrective actions, and implementation of required supplier controls.
  • Partner with ADaM process owners and Quality leadership in the U.S. and Singapore to standardize processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to site personnel on quality processes, procedures, and problem-solving methods.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of quality processes through Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methods.
