  • Assist metallurgical laboratory engineers with routine material characterization, sample preparation, mechanical/microstructural testing, and data recording.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing CORE methodology to enhance site operational efficiency and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Liaise with external equipment suppliers to schedule and track preventive maintenance (PM) activities for engineering and manufacturing machinery.
  • Assist cross-functional teams in collecting spatial and layout data for 3P (Production Preparation Process) facility planning and maintain basic AS9100 quality files.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Materials Science, Advanced Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Foundational understanding of metallurgy, material characterization, or metal AM principles.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, or Creo) for tooling or masking.
  • Understanding of experimental data tracking, basic statistical analysis, and AS9100/ISO 9001 quality concepts.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving mindset and high accountability when handling high-value alloys.
