Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the full spectrum of quantity surveying duties on ongoing construction projects in Singapore.

You will handle tendering, project costing, procurement, contract administration, and claims verification to ensure projects stay within budget and are completed on schedule. Reporting to the HOD of QS, you will collaborate with project teams and suppliers to negotiate prices and resolve commercial issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in tendering and project costing.
• Proficiency in cost control and budgeting.
• Familiarity with contract administration and claims verification.
• Ability to prepare final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costing, budgeting and cost control throughout the project.
• Source and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Prepare and manage progressive/final claims, invoices and payment collections.
• Review and certify subcontractors’ and suppliers’ claims.
• Handle procurement and sourcing of materials required for projects.
• Prepare tenders, quotations, contracts and procurement documents.
• Negotiate and finalise subcontractor and supplier agreements.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, cost estimation and value engineering.
• Review contract terms and identify potential commercial/project risks.
• Attend site visits, tender briefings and project meetings when required.
• Monitor and report project costing, budget and claim status.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Designers and project teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and timeline.
