Job summary

Sourceability is building a Global Engineering Organization in Singapore. We are seeking a Senior QA / Test Automation Engineer to elevate quality discipline, automate web/API/mobile tests, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to reduce production risk and improve release confidence. You will design and maintain automated coverage, perform manual and exploratory testing where automation is

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with hands-on testing and automation.
Experience building or extending test automation frameworks with Playwright/Cypress/Selenium/Appium.
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, API, exploratory, and release validation testing.
Ability to read/write code in at least one language (JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python, or Java).
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing).
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Proficient in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Strong defect reporting, test plan creation, and regression coverage skills.
Ability to work with incomplete requirements and legacy systems while maintaining QA discipline.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test coverage for web apps, APIs, integrations, and mobile workflows.
Perform manual, exploratory, regression, and release validation testing where automation is limited.
Build and improve test automation frameworks, scripts, utilities, and data strategies.
Define regression testing strategies for business-critical systems across GEO platforms.
Collaborate with product managers to understand acceptance criteria and release scope.
Partner with architects and engineers to identify risks, edge cases, and testability concerns.
Create and maintain test plans, cases, data, and validation checklists.
Track defects clearly through Azure DevOps or similar tools; verify fixes and detect regression impact.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps teams.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA standards and automation practices.
