Job summary

Overseas Technical Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to supervise on-site quality control for tankage, piping, structures, and mechanical works in petrochemical projects. Qualifications

• Possess AWS/CSWIP 3.1 inspector certification or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical or oil and gas industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards including API, AWS, ANSI, ASME, and TEMA.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under demanding project conditions.
• Willingness to work a 5.5-day work week and on project sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute approved inspection test plans effectively to meet project quality standards
• Monitor and supervise daily QA/QC activities for tankage, piping, structure, and mechanical works on site
• Track and manage NDT and PWHT status to prevent backlog before site delivery
• Witness and inspect project materials and coordinate inspection arrangements
• Collaborate with QA/QC supervisors, inspectors, clients, and subcontractors to implement site QC plans
• Perform and witness daily QC activities and testing to ensure compliance with Inspection Test Plans and project requirements
• Inspect raw materials and bought-out items, reviewing Material Test Certificates and specifications for ITP compliance
• Generate NDT/Weld Maps and joint summaries for project documentation
• Identify and report defective workmanship or procedural deviations by issuing NCR, SCAR, and QAN reports
