Job summary

PROTEIN PLUS GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA/QC and R&D specialist to provide technical support for manufacturing operations and commercial activities.

You will manage QA/QC activities, perform testing and ensure product compliance with regulatory, customer and market requirements. You will develop and optimise formulations, support product development from concept to scale-up, and liaise with internal teams to deliver technically robust solutions while maintaining food safety and Halal

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC and R&D for food manufacturing
• Familiar with regulatory and food safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Ensure all ingredients and formulations are safe and compliant with food safety requirements.
• Provide QA/QC and R&D support to manufacturing operations and commercial activities.
• Lead QA/QC activities across raw materials, in-process controls and finished products.
• Coordinate physico-chemical, microbiological and sensory testing, and product stability studies.
• Develop and optimise formulations based on functionality, nutrition, quality, cost and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Procurement, suppliers and customers to deliver technically viable solutions.
• Support customer projects with technical advice, product recommendations and trials.
• Prepare specifications, formulations, recipes, SOPs and technical data sheets.
• Maintain and improve food safety, quality and Halal management systems and audits.
