Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on automation testing with Python and Selenium.
• API testing experience using Postman or SoapUI.
• Performance testing experience with JMeter or LoadRunner.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Git or Bitbucket.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication to document defects.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working in regulated environments with evolving priorities.
• Certifications in QA/Software Testing.
• Experience with government agencies, public sector regulations and security requirements.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and testing implications.
• Experience with Salesforce Public Cloud and Lightning components (open to upskilling).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts for web apps, APIs, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts on test plans.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to detect defects early.
• Identify and document defects in JIRA and ensure timely resolution.
• Align testing with government security standards and compliance guidelines.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to discuss test progress, challenges, and risks.
• Use tools to perform load and performance testing to meet expected traffic.
• Track and report quality metrics and provide process improvement insights.
• Maintain detailed test case and test script documentation for audits.
