ARGYLL SCOTT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (Contract) to design and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Python, Selenium, and modern testing tools, with a focus on integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring security and compliance in a regulated environment. You will work within an Agile team, collaborating with project managers, developers, and analysts, to deliver robust test

Qualificações

• Proficient in Python for writing and maintaining test scripts.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts for web applications, APIs, backend systems and other relevant testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and business analysts, to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure early detection of defects and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Identify and document software defects in bug tracking tools such as JIRA and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure testing procedures align with government or local authority security standards, regulations, and compliance guidelines (e.g. ISO).
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to provide input on test progress, challenges, and risks.
• Utilise tools to perform load and performance testing to ensure the system can handle the expected traffic and usage levels.
• Track and report quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and test scripts for internal and external audits.
