Job summary

Huxley is seeking a Senior Python Engineer (Deputy Technical Lead) to join a commodities trading desk in Singapore. You will build Python-based research, analytics, and data platforms used directly by the trading desk, partnering with traders and researchers to deliver production solutions.

You will leverage AI/LLM technologies to enhance workflows, and contribute to the team's technical direction with a potential path to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Quantitative mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
• High levels of ownership, initiative, and commercial awareness.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Mandarin is advantageous but not essential.
