Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Singapore seeks a Project Management Team Lead to drive successful project delivery and operational excellence. You will oversee a portfolio of projects, lead and develop a team of Project Managers, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably while meeting customer expectations.

The role involves partnering with business stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, capacity planning, and revenue growth, while maintaining governance and financial controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, PM, business admin or related field.
• Proven experience leading project teams and managing complex portfolios.
• Strong understanding of PM methodologies, governance, risk management, contract management, and financial controls.
• Demonstrated leadership to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience managing customer relationships in global, matrixed environments.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and project professionals.
• Manage a portfolio of projects with resource optimization, risk management, and achievement of objectives.
• Drive project delivery excellence within contractual commitments, budgets, and schedules.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance and compliance with policies.
• Monitor performance, identify improvements, and implement lessons learned.
• Partner with stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Support revenue growth by building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Oversee financial performance across the project portfolio, including profitability and cash flow.
• Ensure contract, claims, procurement, and commercial practices are applied.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote continuous improvement aligned with Hitachi Energy strategy.
