Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte. Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager (M&E / Energy Projects) to lead multi-million-dollar energy-efficiency initiatives in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.

You will manage the full lifecycle of M&E retrofit and solar PV projects, coordinating engineers, contractors and suppliers. Qualifications

• 8+ years of project-management experience in M&E building services.
• Experience with chiller-plant upgrades, HVAC/ACMV retrofits or solar PV projects.
• Strong knowledge of chiller systems, BMS and energy storage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of M&E retrofit and solar PV projects
• Develop project schedules, risk registers, resource plans and cash-flow projections
• Oversee site installation, testing, commissioning and project handover
• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards and WSH requirements
• Appoint and manage equipment suppliers, subcontractors and other project partners
• Monitor equipment fabrication, shipping and site-deployment schedules
• Manage project milestones, variation orders, costs and contractor performance
• Oversee testing and commissioning of chiller plants and solar-grid systems
• Coordinate the setup of smart meters, BMS software and M&V systems
• Manage the transition from construction to operations and maintenance
• Serve as the lead technical contact for clients, landlords and regulatory authorities
• Present regular project, financial and progress updates to senior stakeholders

Senior Project Manager (M&E / Energy Projects)

Location: Sims Avenue
Salary: Up to $12,000 per month
Contract: 6 months, renewable
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm

Requirements

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sustainable Energy Systems or a related discipline
• At least 8 years of relevant project-management experience in M&E building services
• Proven experience managing chiller-plant upgrades, HVAC/ACMV retrofits or commercial and industrial solar PV projects
• Strong knowledge of chiller systems, variable-speed drives, BMS and thermal-energy storage
• Familiar with relevant engineering standards, including SS 530, SS 591 and BCA Green Mark requirements
• Good understanding of Energy Performance Contracting, guaranteed-savings structures or Energy-as-a-Service models
• Strong experience managing project budgets, CAPEX variations, contract disputes and vendor payments
• Able to manage regional stakeholders, contractors and multiple project priorities

• Singapore Certified Energy Manager
• Green Mark Professional or Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional
• Project Management Professional certification
• Relevant construction-safety or BizSafe qualifications
