Job summary

Canon Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a senior R&D professional to lead the development of new laser printer products in collaboration with Canon INC Japan. You will investigate development problems, conduct measurements, and drive rework on engines and supplies as needed.

You will also coordinate schedules and report technical issues between client and Canon INC. The role requires extensive printer-related R&D experience, strong project management and leadership, and fluent English and Japanese

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of printer-related R&D experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Japanese.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop new laser printer products in collaboration with Canon INC Japan.
• Investigate problems and conduct measurements required for development.
• Conduct rework on engines and supplies when needed.
• Coordinate schedules and report technical issues between client and Canon INC.
• Conduct market surveys for new products development.
