Job summary

WPP Production Pte. Limited, based in Singapore, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of content across web, social, video and print. You will coordinate with internal marketing, creative and production teams and external vendors to ensure projects meet on-time, on-budget and quality standards.

The role requires handling ambiguity with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills and a passion for problem solving across pop culture and creative pursuits.

Role summary:

This Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the development and delivery of diverse content, from web and social to video and print, across multiple standard and proprietary platforms, both online and in-store. The role requires extensive experience managing and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across internal marketing, creative, and production departments as well as external vendors ensuring each project is delivered on time, within budget and to ever exacting standards.

The ideal candidate has a natural curiosity for all things related to popular culture and has a passion for creative pursuits be that in arts and design, music, film-making, photography or coding.

Key responsibilities:

• Create, maintain and own project resourcing for all projects, including project assignments, capacity, and change management.
• Own the client-side creative briefs including managing design reviews, capturing key ideas, decisions, issues and action items.
• Lead Client comms and presentations on scope, project or alignment initiatives
• POR ownership through planning for respective GEO and maintenance with up to date information on scope, deadlines and any other changes
• Global coordination in collaboration with other GEOs
• Own and maintain function workflows and processes, with continual efficiencies and improvements in mind.
• Documentation creation and presentation for both internal and external stakeholders
• An advocate within the brand for overall quality, ensuring all content is produced to the highest quality standards.
• Negotiate and manage priorities for the WPP Production team against resource capacity and various schedules.
• Facilitate relationships between external and internal partners, ensuring up-to-date information is communicated.
• Maintain expert-level familiarity with program content.
• Manage scope of content and communicate scope and timing fluctuations to all stakeholders.
• Ability to make sound decisions, think strategically, focus on detail, problem-solve and multi-task.
• Must possess exceptional organization, time management, excellent verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize.
• Eye for continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
• Continually staying informed of industry trends and ways of working, with a lens on how to implement across our work
• May require working with commercial and reporting
• May require line people management in GEO or offshore

Requirements:

• +7 years managing the content production cycle within internal communication, digital/social media marketing, PR/advertising agency or digital news agency environment.
• Experience working with international and regional peers to manage regional communication production.
• Dynamic, agile and driven.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask projects, priorities, schedules and deliverables.
• Exceptional organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Expert at driving the production and publication process across creative and planning teams, aligning stakeholders and solving for challenges.
• Ability to be resourceful, adaptable and results-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Superior written and verbal communication to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Experienced working closely with retained agency, designers, writers and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to define requirements, clarify design goals, manage design reviews and ensure a quality release of the final product.
