Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Singapore is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end fit-out projects for commercial offices, retail spaces or showrooms. You will coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage schedules and risk registers, and ensure successful handover and close-out of projects.

You will work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment on large-scale, fast-track assignments, requiring autonomy and proactive problem-solving across diverse teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading MS/PMO projects in office/retail/showroom fit-out.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing commercial office, retail, or showroom fit-out projects internationally.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for end to end project management from preconstruction, construction to handover stage.
• Coordinate among various internal & external stakeholders to facilitate timely definition of business unit requirements to inform project planning and execution.
• Establish project schedules, risk registers, reporting and change registers to inform decision making and escalation.
• Facilitate efficient coordination (landlord, vendor and internal stakeholder), ensuring smooth execution and cost-effectiveness.
• Follow and manage the project handover workflow to hand over completed projects and close the final account and maintain documentation throughout the project cycle.
• Assist in managing resources and risk of facing uncertain site condition, different timelines and dependencies in large-scale, fast track projects.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary teams in various working environments.
• Operate effectively in fast-moving, dynamic, and often non-standard environments, with the ability to work autonomously.

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing commercial office, retail, or showroom fit-out projects internationally.
• Strong knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Proven experience leading small to medium-sized construction projects of low to medium complexity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
