Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead new build projects from pre-construction planning through to completion and handover. You will ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires coordinating with consultants, architects, engineers, main and subcontractors, and authorities, tracking progress, mitigating delays, and managing risks across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in civil/structural fields and related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction/project management.
• Experience with residential and commercial new-build projects in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction practices and statutory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage consultants, contractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee new build construction projects from pre-construction and planning through to completion and handover.
• Manage project delivery including planning, budget, programme, quality, safety and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Monitor progress against schedules, identify delays and implement mitigation plans.
• Review costs, variations, contracts and resources to stay within budget.
• Provide leadership to project teams and ensure timely decisions.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings for progress and compliance.
• Identify and manage project risks, resolving technical and contractual issues.
• Prepare and present updates to the Project Director/Director.
• Ensure works comply with Singapore building regulations, safety standards and policies.
• Drive the project towards timely completion, quality delivery and handover.

JobResponsibilities:

• Lead and oversee new build construction projects from pre-construction and planning through to completion and handover.
• Manage the overall project delivery, including project planning, budget, programme, quality, safety and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate and work closely with consultants, architects, engineers, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, identify potential delays or issues, and implement effective mitigation plans.
• Review and manage project costs, variations, contracts and resources to ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring effective coordination and timely decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings to monitor construction progress, workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and manage project risks, resolving technical, contractual and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare and present regular project updates, progress reports and recommendations to the Project Director / Director.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant Singapore building regulations, authority requirements, safety standards and company policies.
• Drive the project towards timely completion, quality delivery and successful handover.

JobRequirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction/project management, with proven experience managing new build projects in Singapore.
• Candidates with experience in residential condominiums, commercial developments, landed houses or other new build projects are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction practices, project management processes and relevant statutory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage consultants, contractors, subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project planning, problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
