Job summary

RemotePeople is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in 22kV and 66kV power systems to lead electrical projects in Singapore. You will coordinate planning, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities include managing resources, overseeing technical reviews, and leading site visits, progress reporting, and risk mitigation to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience.
• 5+ years hands-on experience managing projects with 22kV/66kV systems (switchgear, cables, protection).
• Strong understanding of HV systems, design, operation and protection.
• Familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards and local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage HV projects from initiation to handover for 22kV/66kV systems.
• Oversee LV procurement, scheduling, installation, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with technical specs, safety standards, and codes.
• Review drawings and submittals; plan resources to meet deadlines.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Conduct site visits and progress reviews; report to management.
• Lead testing and commissioning of LV systems.
