Job summary

WSG Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to lead plumbing and sanitary projects. Responsibilities include engineering design, construction oversight, manpower planning, testing, and commissioning, along with budget control and contractor negotiations.

Applicants should have a Civil/MEP background, a plumber license, and extensive experience in plumbing construction, with BIM Revit and Autodesk tools preferred. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil/MEP/Building disciplines.
• Willingness to possess relevant plumbing & pipefitting certificate is a plus.
• Registered Licensed Plumber with proven track record.
• Experience in plumbing and sanitary construction preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead full spectrum project management including design, construction, and testing.
• Plan manpower and resources to meet project goals.
• Control budget and costs for projects.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors for profitability.

Job Descriptions

• Lead full spectrum of Project Management including but not limited to Overall Engineering Design, Construction, Manpower Planning, Testing and Commissioning.
• Design Development relating to Plumbing, and Sanitary.
• Predict resources needed to complete project.
• Budget and Cost Control.
• Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Order and manage materials and equipment.
• Coordination and liaison with Clients, Consultants, Architect, Authorities, Project teams, and Subcontractors.
• Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
• Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites.
• Any other business-related matters assigned by the Management/Head office.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, M&E Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.
• BCA Certificate in Plumbing & Pipefitting is an advantage.
• Registered Licensed Plumber with a proven track record.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in plumbing and sanitary construction.
• Experience with BIM Revit and Autodesk software is preferred.
• Strong leadership, management, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels.
