Job summary

etla limited is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, develop and manage project plans, allocate resources and track performance against targets. You will coordinate with Sales, Production and Materials to review specs, BOMs, drawings and approvals, and to resolve material issues.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in engineering and at least 2 years in project management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute the project plan.
• Allocate and manage resources per the approved plan.
• Coordinate with Sales and Production on specs, BOMs, drawings, and POs.
• Chair discussions to resolve material issues with Materials team.
• Initiate conferences with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Update SAP dates and monitor project status to the Project Director.
• Submit and track ECR/ECOs to ensure on-schedule cut-in.
• Collaborate on ad-hoc rework with internal teams.
• Liaise with production, quality and buyers for RMAs.

About the role

The Project Engineer is responsible for planning and developing project plans, allocating and managing project resources according to approved plans, and analysing actual performance against project targets to take appropriate corrective actions. The role involves coordinating with Sales and Production on technical deliverables including specification reviews, BOMs, drawings, and PO approvals, and chairing discussions to resolve material issues with the Materials team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute project plan.
• Allocate and manage project resources according to the approved plan analyze actual performance against project targets and take appropriate actions to close the gaps.
• Coordinate with Sales and Production on the technical deliverables: specs review, BOM, drawings, and PO approvals.
• Chair discussions to resolve indirect and direct material issues with Materials team.
• Initiate and attend conference calls with customers and internal stakeholders or any ad-hoc meeting activities.
• Project scheduling & updating need date in SAP on time if there is any pull in/ push out by the customers.
• Monitor and report project status to the Project Director
• Ensure all Engineering Change Request/Order (ECR/ ECO) are submitted for Pilot and production, conduct necessary ECO reviews, and track all ECOs to ensure cut-in on schedule.
• Manage, track and collaborate with customer/ internal for any ad-hoc rework activities
• Liaise with production, quality & buyer team for RMA closure

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in project management, preferably in fast-pace manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, project management and risk management, quality tools and problem-solving skills.
• Good analytical abilities, strong planning and organizing capabilities.
• Ability to understand both the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.
