Job summary

Mitsubishi Elevator Singapore is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to oversee lift/elevator and vertical transportation projects on site in Singapore. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure schedules, safety, and quality compliance.

The role requires Diploma or Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of project management experience in construction or vertical transport.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly project coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in monthly site safety meetings to ensure compliance.
• Attend monthly project reviews and support timely payment follow-up.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with master programme.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and coordinate to meet milestones.
• Manage SAP-based project documentation and costing reports.
• Prepare local purchase catalogues and samples for consultants.
• Submit site progress and technical reports as required.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to meet schedules and quality.
• Ensure activities comply with drawings, requirements and Mitsubishi Elevator procedures.
• Maintain records of site progress, issues, inspections and actions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, owners and stakeholders for permits and access.
• Coordinate with engineering, installation, procurement, testing teams to resolve issues.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Support handover, testing and commissioning and complete documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager.

• Up till$5,500 basic + Bonus + AWS (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)

• Working Days/Timings: 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM / 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Attend weekly project coordination meetings with clients and relevant project stakeholders to review progress, technical matters and outstanding issues.

• Participate in monthly site safety meetings with clients and project teams to ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.

• Attend monthly payment and project review meetings and support the timely follow-up of project payment matters.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in line with the client's master programme and project requirements.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure key milestones and completion dates are achieved.

• Manage project-related purchase requisitions and documentation through SAP, including Goods Receipt (GR), Service Receipt (SR) and project costing reports.

• Prepare, coordinate and submit local purchase catalogues, material samples and sample boards to consultants for approval.

• Prepare and submit site progress reports, technical reports and other project documentation as required.

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site personnel to ensure work is completed according to approved schedules, specifications and quality standards.

• Monitor installation and project activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical requirements and Mitsubishi Elevator's procedures.

• Ensure all site activities comply with Singapore workplace safety requirements, building regulations and relevant industry codes.

• Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, site progress, technical issues, inspections and corrective actions.

• Liaise closely with clients, consultants, building owners and other stakeholders to coordinate site access, work permits and routine work procedures.

• Coordinate with internal engineering, installation, procurement, testing and commissioning teams to resolve project-related issues.

• Identify potential project risks and implement appropriate corrective or preventive actions.

• Support project handover, testing and commissioning activities and ensure all required documentation is completed.

• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager or management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related discipline.

• For Senior Project Engineer, a minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the construction, building services or vertical transportation industry.

• Relevant experience in lift/elevator and escalator projects.
