You will mentor junior engineers, optimise budgets and resources, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain robust stakeholder communication to protect margins and strengthen client relationships.

Formación

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in project management, automation and control systems, preferably in water treatment, oil & gas, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
• PMP or Certified Automation Professional is a plus.

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of automation and control system projects from planning to completion. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, oversee design reviews, ensure quality assurance, and drive best practices throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage risks, align objectives, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. This position also involves mentoring junior engineers, optimising budgets and resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions that protect project margins, strengthen client relationships, and enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimally Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or related fields

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, automation, and control systems, preferably in industries such as water treatment, oil & gas, manufacturing, or infrastructure

• Professional certificate holders in PMP or Certified Automation Professional is a plus

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SCADA, DCS, PLC programming

• Familiar with communication protocols like Modbus, DNP3, and OPC

• Hands-on experience with field commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting

Additional Skills

• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and work in a team-oriented environment
