Job summary

EXYTE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Cost Controller to lead budgets, forecasts and cash flows for Singapore projects. You will liaise with Procurement, Subcontracts Leads and Project Managers to establish WBS and budgets, and to deliver monthly cost reports and client documentation.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering or Science, 10 years in engineering/construction and at least 5 years in cost control, with strong Excel, SAP and EcoSys skills. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or Science.
• 10 years working experience in engineering & construction environment and minimum 5 years of cost control experience.
• High level of competency in MS Excel (Intermediate to Advanced).
• Experience in ERP Systems (SAP preferred) and Cost Control Systems (EcoSys preferred).
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and set up Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Work Package/project budgets with leads and project managers.
• Prepare reports on revenue, budgets, commitments, changes, forecasts and cash flows.
• Monitor actual and committed costs; analyze trends and variances.
• Verify cost allocations by Work Package.
• Prepare monthly Cost Reports (Excel or EcoSys) and GPR; generate client reports as required.
• Prepare monthly Cash Flow and 15-week Cash Flow.
• Maintain Change Order, Budget Transfers and Trends Register; support CO submissions to clients.
• Collaborate with Finance/Procurement/Operations to record costs accurately and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist PMs and Commercial Managers with estimates and documentation for CO submissions.
• Prepare billing memos for Finance to generate invoices and SAP entries.
• Provide support for external audits and risk management; update risk registers.
• Coordinate with disciplines for input to MMS and project cost consolidation.
