Job summary

HUA YING (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated professional to support plant operations in Singapore. Responsibilities include assisting the Shift Charge Engineer, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and performing quality monitoring.

The ideal candidate should possess Nitec or equivalent qualifications and is willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Experience in the power plant industry will be advantageous.

• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts at Tuas South.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shift Charge Engineer in achieving contractual, technical, and commercial objectives for plant operations.
• Perform quality monitoring and plant operations in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Advise on the isolation and normalization of equipment in accordance with the Permit-To-Work system.
• Act as first response for troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
• Ensure all maintenance and modification activities are conducted safely and in compliance with plant procedures.
• Collect raw material and product samples for laboratory testing.
• Carry out and follow up on routine plant operations and daily tasks.

Education

Nitec, GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent qualification
