CYGNIFY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead radio product engineering from design through validation and manufacturing.

You will work with RF, software, mechanical design, NPI, operations, and QA teams to deliver high‑performance radio systems. The role requires hands‑on hardware bring‑up, debugging, validation, and strong knowledge of wireless design and production test methodologies.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in product engineering, RF systems, or related fields.
• Hands-on hardware bring‑up, debugging, and validation experience.
• Experience in wireless communications systems and embedded hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead product engineering activities for radio product lines from design through validation and manufacturing.
• Lead product bring‑up, debugging, testing, and validation efforts.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with RF, software, mechanical, NPI, operations, and QA teams.
• Drive design for manufacturability (DFM), design for test (DFT), and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Develop and improve test setups, automation scripts, and validation processes to improve efficiency and coverage; support regulatory certifications (FCC, CE).
• Mentor and guide junior product engineers.

We are partnering with Singapore-based company that makes communication radios — not drones. looking for candidates with RF module/system-level design experience (not component-level, telecom, IoT, or semiconductor backgrounds), ideally with R&D and design-to-production experience within the last 5 years. About the Role

The Senior Product Engineer is responsible for leading product engineering activities across company's radio product lines and will play a key role in driving product development from design through validation and manufacturing.

In this role, you will work closely with RF, Software, Mechanical Design, NPI, Operations, and Manufacturing/Quality Assurance teams to deliver high-performance radio systems. This position will help shape product quality, manufacturability, and scalability as company continues to expand its radio portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Own and drive product engineering activities for radio product lines from design through validation and manufacturing
• Lead product bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation efforts
• Collaborate cross-functionally with RF, software, mechanical, NPI, operations, and QA teams
• Drive design for manufacturability (DFM), design for test (DFT), and cost optimization initiatives
• Develop and improve test setups, automation scripts, and validation processes to improve efficiency and coverageSupport regulatory and compliance certifications (e.g., FCC, CE)
• Manage component obsolescence and support end-of-life (EOL) transitions
• Produce and maintain technical documentation such as datasheets, integration guides, and application notes
• Mentor and guide junior product engineers

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Communication Engineering, or a related discipline
• 6–9 years of experience in product engineering, RF systems, or related fields
• Strong experience in radio/Wi-Fi product development and manufacturing support
• Hands‑on expertise in hardware bring‑up, debugging, and validation
• Solid understanding of quality control, validation, and production test methodologies
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Experience in wireless communication systems, RF design, or embedded hardware
• Experience in drones, robotics, or industrial IoT systems
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and large‑scale production environments
• Experience supporting regulatory certifications and compliance
