Job summary

GIC in Singapore is seeking a Product Engineer (Developer Acceleration) to build and operate the agentic cloud development platform used by hundreds of developers. You will advance the platform across infrastructure, tooling, and AI-native development, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-velocity software delivery.

Bring 6+ years in software/platform engineering, hands-on ownership of developer platforms, and strong skills in Python/Java/C#/JS, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software, platform, or infrastructure engineering with ownership of developer platforms or large-scale distributed systems.
• 2+ years leading complex cross-team engineering initiatives as an engineer or technical lead.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong AWS expertise (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS/ECS, CloudWatch, S3).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerised development and devcontainers; security-first engineering.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve the agentic cloud development platform across infrastructure, networking, deployment automation, observability, and governance.
• Address developer needs, resolve platform issues, and build integrations with enterprise services.
• Govern the developer tools estate: onboard, secure, and manage IDEs, extensions, SDKs, CLIs, and AI tools.
• Drive AI-native development practices, context engineering, MCP integrations, and reference workflows.
• Build the agentic SDLC platform linking project management tools, source control, and CI/CD for end-to-end delivery.
• Collaborate with infra and security teams to ensure observability, resilience, and compliance.
