Job description

Company Description PathIQ is a Singapore-headquartered data and AI company building identity data for the AI economy. Our Audience Logic platform ingests, normalises and enriches consented data from a global partner network and activates it through the programmatic ecosystem. TrustIQ takes the same identity and device-location graph and turns it into real-time identity and risk intelligence for credit, KYC, fraud and investigations teams.

We are small, fast, profitable and building the data layer that ad tech and risk teams have never had done properly.

Our identity and risk API returns in under 100ms and answers one question well: what do we independently know about this device, identifier or location?

A client submits a mobile advertising ID or hashed email. It gets back resolved identity across ID types, device and carrier attributes, inferred home and work locations, and recent device-location events.

Behind the API sits a graph of roughly 4.9 billion consented device-location signals across 168 markets. It draws on five independent SDK and RTB feeds plus telco data, processed in line with PDPA and GDPR. It gives fintechs an independent, behavioural view of a device that no single bank, lender or platform can see on its own.

The roadmap extends from single-ID lookups to IP-and-timestamp session verification and radius-based location attestation. Each will have 7, 30 or 60-day look-back windows and credit-based pricing per query type.

Who Uses It
  • Lending and BNPL: confirm a device is real, active and consistent with the applicant's declared home and work locations before approving credit.
  • Digital banks and onboarding (KYC): enrich customer records with device, carrier and location attributes, and catch synthetic identities that pass document checks but have no behavioural footprint.
  • Payments and wallets: account takeover defence and session verification by checking which devices have been seen on an IP.
  • Fraud and financial crime teams: chargeback, bot and mule-account investigation, and location attestation to support case work, always within consent and legal frameworks.
  • Fintech platforms and partners: identity resolution and device reach for partners who need identity signals rather than risk scores.
The Role

You will own the product end to end: the data supply behind it, the query types and API contract, the pricing and credit model, and the banks, lenders and fintechs who buy it.

This is a commercially-facing product role, not a backlog-grooming one. You will sit between data partners, our data team, engineering, compliance and clients, and you will be accountable for the product's quality, performance and revenue.

The API is live, the first clients are integrating, and the data platform is being brought in-house. You will define what the product becomes, working with a lead engineer and the founders rather than a large team.

What You'll Own

Product strategy and roadmap

  • Set the roadmap: which query types ship in what order, which markets and identifier types come first, and what the API contract does and does not promise.
  • Turn a data asset built for advertising into products that fraud, credit and compliance buyers recognise and trust, positioned against incumbent identity, device-intelligence and fraud vendors.
  • Decide where we sell direct and where we sell through partners, platforms and resellers.
Fintech use cases and buyers
  • Own the playbook for each use case: lending and BNPL verification, KYC enrichment, account takeover, session and bot verification, and fraud investigation.
  • Define the signals, response fields and scoring each use case needs, and translate them into engineering requirements.
  • Be the product point of contact for clients on coverage, match rates, response fields, latency and value, and feed what you learn back into the roadmap.
Data supply and quality
  • Own the relationship with data supply: SDK and RTB feeds, telco partners and the identity graph. Assess new sources for coverage, uniqueness, recency, consent status and commercial fit.
  • Define and enforce the quality standards risk buyers care about: match rates by identifier type and market, freshness, location precision, duplication and anomaly detection.
  • Own the escalation path when a feed degrades, and the coverage roadmap by market, particularly across APAC.
API product and performance
  • Own the API as a product: documentation, sandbox, onboarding, account approval, API keys, geo restrictions, credits and audit logging.
  • Hold the product to its performance contract (sub-100ms, documented error semantics, uptime) and make the numbers visible to clients.
  • Own the developer experience from first sandbox key to production integration.
Commercial performance and pricing
  • Own the credit-based pricing model: cost by query type and look-back window, packages, volume tiers, and the analytics that show whether they work.
  • Own the product P&L: queries, credits consumed, revenue, data cost, margin and client retention.
  • Support pre-sale scoping, proof-of-value pilots and post-pilot analysis with banks, lenders and fintechs.
Privacy, compliance and trust
  • Ensure every use case, data flow and client is within PDPA, GDPR, platform consent requirements and local law, and can be explained to a client's compliance, model-risk and security teams.
  • Own the acceptable-use position: who may buy, for what purpose, with what controls and audit trail.
  • Work with legal and the founders on data processing agreements, client due diligence and regulator-facing documentation.
What You'll Need
Essential
  • 7+ years in product roles, including 3+ years owning a data or API product end to end with commercial accountability.
  • Fintech and risk experience: working knowledge of fraud, KYC/AML and credit risk workflows, including how a bank, lender or fintech decides, what signals it trusts, and how a new data vendor gets through procurement, model validation and compliance.
  • Experience selling to or building for banks, lenders, payment providers or fintechs.
  • Understanding of identity and device data: mobile advertising IDs, SDK and RTB data, identity resolution, device graphs and match rates, including what this data can and cannot tell you.
  • Comfort in data: able to write or read SQL and validate coverage and match-rate claims yourself before a client does.
  • Working knowledge of privacy and consent frameworks (PDPA, GDPR) as they apply to device, location and identity data.
  • Strong client-facing communication: you can talk to an engineer and to a head of fraud in the same hour, and write clearly for both.
  • Eligible to work in Singapore, or eligible for an Employment Pass.
Advantageous
  • Experience at a device-intelligence, identity-verification, fraud-prevention or risk-data vendor, or on the buying side of one.
  • Telco data partnerships.
  • Geospatial product experience: location attestation, home and work inference, radius and look-back queries.
  • Experience launching and pricing API products, especially credit or usage-based models.
  • Exposure to investigations, due diligence or OSINT workflows and the acceptable-use controls around them.
  • Experience across APAC markets and the regional banking and fintech landscape.
  • Prior experience as the first or most senior product hire at an early-stage company.
