Job summary

33 Talent is seeking a Senior Product & Retail Designer to own 3D product, display, and fixture design for shopper activation briefs across APAC. You will translate brand concepts into production-ready designs and collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to ensure feasibility and cost targets.

The role demands strong CAD and rendering skills, deep knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, and a proven ability to document design intent and revisions for handover to production

Qualifications

But this isn’t an abstract design studio or a team that just delivers pretty renders. They partner closely with brand owners, shopper strategists, and manufacturing partners to bridge the gap between creative concepts, material realities, and flawless in-store execution.

We’re looking for a Senior Product & Retail Designer to own the 3D product, display, and fixture design for shopper activation briefs across the region.

The Role:

• Concept to CAD: Develop 3D product, POS display, and retail fixture concepts from brand and retailer requirements, defining dimensions, materials, assembly methods, and target costs up front.
• Visualisation & Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality 3D models, renders, and design intent documentation, ensuring editable CAD exchange formats and drawing standards are met.
• Production Feasibility & Sourcing: Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing contacts to evaluate materials, finishes, and structural feasibility against commercial target costs.
• Prototyping & Sample Reviews: Support prototype reviews, record design revisions, and clearly distinguish pure design intent from structural or regulatory approvals.
• Technical Handover & Governance: Maintain strict version control and technical handover notes for production partners, proactively flagging unresolved engineering issues or delivery dependencies.

About You…

• Proven Portfolio: Strong track record in physical product or retail design, showcasing concept development alongside practical technical handovers for POS displays or fixtures.
• CAD & Rendering Mastery: Highly proficient in 3D CAD modeling and rendering tools, capable of delivering clean, editable source files and precise design intent specs.
• Material & Manufacturing Savvy: Deep understanding of materials, finishes, assembly, and manufacturing constraints, backed by solid commercial judgment.
• Prototyping Eye: Experienced in evaluating physical samples against design intent and documenting actionable, clear revision registers.
• Cross-Functional Collaborator: Ability to liaise seamlessly with creative directors, account teams, sourcing managers, and factory engineers using systematic version control.
