Job summary

PSRG Asia Pacific is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Process Safety Engineer to join our Singapore office in a full-time remote position. You will support diverse process-safety projects across Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field and 10 years of relevant experience, with expertise in HAZOP/LOPA/PHA, safety case, audits, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in process safety, operations, or related industries.
• Experience with HAZOP, LOPA, PHA, Safety Case, and incident investigations.
• Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process hazard analyses (HAZOP, What-If, HAZID, LOPA).
• Perform risk assessments and consequence analyses.
• Support development and implementation of Process Safety Management systems.
• Conduct process-safety audits, gap assessments, regulatory reviews.
• Assist with Safety Case development, review and implementation.
• Deliver process-safety training and workshops.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators and engineering teams.
• Travel within Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region as required.

PSRG Asia Pacific is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Process Safety Engineer to join our Singapore office. This is a full-time remote position offering the opportunity to support diverse process-safety projects across Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and facilitate process hazard analyses, including HAZOP, What-If, HAZID and LOPA studies.
• Perform process-safety reviews, risk assessments and consequence analyses.
• Support development and implementation of Process Safety Management systems.
• Conduct process-safety audits, gap assessments and regulatory compliance reviews.
• Assist clients with Safety Case development, review and implementation.
• Deliver or support process-safety training and workshops.
• Coordinate with clients, engineering teams, regulators and other stakeholders.
• Support business-development activities, proposals and client meetings when required.
• Travel within Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region as project needs require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 10 year experience relevant experience in process safety, operations, engineering, consulting, or the oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical or energy industries.
• Working knowledge of process-safety principles and risk-assessment methodologies.
• Experience with HAZOP, LOPA, PHA, Safety Case, incident investigation or PSM audits is preferred.
• Familiarity with Singapore process-safety regulations and Major Hazard Installation requirements is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, technical writing and problem-solving skills.
• Confident verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Professional certifications such as CCPSC, CFSE, TÜV Functional Safety, or equivalent are an advantage.

Work Arrangement

• This is a full-time remote position based in Singapore. The successful candidate will work through a combination of:
• Remote work, subject to project and business requirements
• On-site work at client facilities
• Regional travel when required
