Job summary

POET Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Process Integration to lead technical engagements with external wafer foundry partners across Singapore, Taiwan, and Europe. You will bridge engineering, process, design, quality, and operations with foundry organizations to drive process installation, qualification, transfers, and yield improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline; Master’s/Ph.D. preferred.
• 15+ years of semiconductor or photonics wafer fabrication experience.
• Significant external wafer foundry experience: installation, transfer, qualification, yield improvement, and issue resolution.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication, process specifications, DOE, SPC, wafer-level testing, and engineering change control.
• Leadership & stakeholder management across senior internal and external teams; cross-site programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Foundry Technical Interface between internal teams and external foundry partners for wafer fabrication and yield management.
• Drive process installation and qualification, DOE, pilot studies, capability studies, and production release.
• Manage qualified process transfers between foundry sites to support capacity and second-source qualification.
• Own process specifications, design rules, process control plans, and related documentation across sites.
• Define wafer-level test requirements with internal and foundry teams; monitor parametric data and trends.
• Lead cross-functional investigations into yield loss and process variation; drive corrective actions.
• Establish and lead regular foundry technical reviews, yield reviews, and technology roadmap discussions.
• Partner with design, packaging, quality, and operations for NPI and manufacturing readiness; manage changes and risk.
