Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Engineer I – Process Engineering to lead equipment readiness for NPI, GLAM and site projects at ASM1/ASM2. You will serve as the SME ensuring equipment operates and remains validated, while guiding system owners and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong project management, hands-on collaboration with manufacturing, validation, and engineering teams, and the ability to drive improvements while meeting safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent engineering terminal degree with relevant experience.
• Master’s degree with 2+ years of directly related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of directly related experience.
• Diploma with 8+ years of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment readiness initiatives for NPI, GLAM and Site Projects.
• Act as SME for process equipment performance and validation activities.
• Coordinate commissioning and qualification efforts (IQ/OQ/PQ) and related documentation.
• Coach and mentor system owner teams and stakeholders to ensure sustained operations.
