Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Engineer – Process Engineering to own process equipment systems at the Chemical Synthesis API Manufacturing Facility in ASM. You will coordinate with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering and automation to troubleshoot issues and drive improvements.

The role requires experience in process equipment design, qualification, operation and maintenance, with a focus on reliability and efficiency. Strong collaboration and problem solving are essential for success at Amgen.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or bachelor’s with related experience in process engineering
Experience in design, qualification, operation, maintenance and improvement of chemical synthesis process equipment
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and lead improvement projects

Responsibilities

Serve as process equipment system owner for Chemical Synthesis API Manufacturing Facility.
Liaise between manufacturing, maintenance, engineering and automation to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Lead investigations and identify corrective actions and improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safety, compliance and sustained operation.
Translate equipment and automation requirements into engineering solutions and project delivery.
Participate in design reviews, commissioning and qualification activities (IOQ, FAT, SAT, PSSR).
Develop requirements for equipment/facility modifications with cross-functional teams.
