Job summary

Pfizer Singapore is expanding its manufacturing capabilities and recruiting senior associates to lead production campaigns and provide technical supervision for quality and EHS outcomes. You will deploy Pfizer’s IMEx way of working, drive continuous improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet targets.

The role requires a chemical engineering or chemistry background, 2–3 years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, and strong leadership and GMP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in engineering, preferably chemical engineering or science with chemistry.
• 2–3 years in a relevant manufacturing environment (API).
• Strong GMP knowledge and experience in a pharmaceutical setting.
• Experience with project-oriented admin/cost control and management.
• Strong technical, management and organizational skills, and good leadership.
• Nice to have Master's degree and experience in automation (DeltaV) and validation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, including fermentation and purification.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing campaigns from start to finish with technical supervision on quality and EHS.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing instructions, SOPs and process controls.
• Investigate quality/EHS issues observed during manufacturing and batch review.
• Implement robust preventive measures for processing issues and drive improvements.
• Ensure site safety and GMP compliance as priorities and performance measures.
• Coach junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams for flawless execution.
