Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer / Senior Process Engineer – Manufacturing to sustain, troubleshoot and optimise manufacturing processes, improving product quality, yield, productivity and cost.

Based at Pioneer or Ang Mo Kio, the role involves analysing process data, supporting new product introductions, driving Lean Six Sigma, and collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, NPI and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics or related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, RCA and continuous improvement methodologies advantageous.
• Knowledge of SPC / statistical tools such as Minitab or JMP advantageous.
• SAP BOM and routing knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Sustain, troubleshoot and optimise manufacturing processes to improve product quality, yield, productivity and cost.
• Investigate production issues and customer complaints using RCA, FMEA and other problem-solving methodologies.
• Analyse process data and SPC/SQC metrics and implement corrective / preventive actions.
• Support new product, process and equipment introductions from development through mass production.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma, cost reduction, scrap reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and improve process documentation including FMEA, Control Plans and SOPs.
• Support BOM, routing and material setup in SAP where required.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, NPI and suppliers on process and equipment improvements.
• Support customer / certification audits and manufacturing quality requirements.
• Participate in automation, equipment development and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
