Job summary

HL Bank Singapore is seeking a Client Advisor to actively identify and acquire high-net-worth clients through networking, referrals, and business development, while nurturing long-term relationships as the primary contact for all financial needs.

You will provide financial advisory across investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking services, collaborate with internal specialists to deliver integrated wealth solutions, and monitor risk, compliance, and portfolio performance.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and acquire new high-net-worth clients through networking, referrals, and business development initiatives.
• Cultivate and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all financial needs.
• Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess their changing financial circumstances, goals, and risk profiles.
• Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention through personalized service and proactive engagement.
• Provide expert advice on a wide range of private banking products and services, including: Investment Management, Wealth Planning, Credit and Lending, Banking Services.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver holistic and integrated wealth management solutions.
• Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to provide timely and relevant advice to clients.
• Develop and implement tailored investment strategies that align with clients' risk tolerance and financial objectives.
• Regularly monitor and review client portfolios, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on portfolio performance and market outlook to clients.
• Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards (e.g., AML, KYC).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Act as a role model for business ownership and responsibility for risk management.
• Contribute to the overall profitability and growth targets of HL Bank Singapore.
• Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with other departments to deliver the bank's overall value proposition to clients.
• Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base.
• Provide overall leadership, direction and coaching to the Client Advisor to achieve the agreed business and financial objectives.
• Provide guidance and support on client engagement, investment solutions, credit structuring and business development.
• Support the Client Advisor in managing key client relationships and developing strategic business opportunities.
• Provide appropriate oversight of the Client Advisor’s compliance with the bank’s policies, procedures, risk appetite and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Identify and support the Client Advisor’s training, development and career progression needs
