Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Senior/Principal Engineer in Manufacturing Systems Engineering focused on Real-Time Dispatching and CIM integration. You will develop RTD rules and automation workflows for AMHS and mobile robots, coordinating with Production Control and Industrial Engineering to optimize Fab performance and equipment utilization.

The role requires strong programming and IT infrastructure knowledge, with responsibilities including system maintenance, upgrades, and performance

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/IS/Computer Engineering/CS or related field.
• Familiar with server installation and basic networking.
• Experience with web service standards and SOA concepts.
• Knowledge of MES/MCS/SCADA in semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Fab's Real-Time Dispatching (RTD) Rules and Automation Workflows for AMHS, MR and CIM systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize intelligent production models and improve Fab quality, cycle time, throughput and equipment utilization.
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability of automation systems.
• Administer applications with backups, health monitoring, alerts, reporting and tuning.

For more information, visit www.gf.com. **Principal Accountabilities**Develop and maintain Fab's Real-Time Dispatching (RTD) Rules, Automation Workflows with integration solutions to Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS), Mobile Robots (MR) and other CIM systems programed within Applied Material's Advanced Productivty Family (APF) suite - RTD & Activity Mgr for Automation software. * Ability to coordinate and participate in cross-functional teams (Production Control, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Planning, Module Engineering, Yield Enhancement/Process Integration, CIM/IT) in developing and optimizing intelligent production business models/rules to attain Fab quality, cycle time, throughput and equipment utilization goals* Systems improvement, maintenance and recovery to ensure high availability* Install, patch, upgrade, enhance, integrate, support, troubleshoot & resolve Engineering* Applications related problems encountered and reported.* Application Administration & Tuning: Backups & Restore, health monitoring & alerts, reporting, trending, tuning (including working with IT DBAs & System Administrators)* Perform periodic reviews, establish the strategies and execute the plans to surpass the performance indices, enhance and provide for renewal of both Software and Hardware.**Required Qualifications:**Degree in Information Technology / Information System / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Industrial or Operations Research Engineering / Electrical, Electronics Engineering Knowledge on various programming languages, Python, Java, JavaScript, .Net, ASP, ASP.NET, VBA, SQL Familiar with Server installation.
