Job summary

Tencent Singapore is seeking a PR and communications specialist to plan and execute media campaigns, liaise with internal teams and external agencies, and manage media relations across regional markets.

You will prepare press materials, monitor news, support social content, and coordinate events while ensuring quality and timely delivery. The role requires 2+ years in PR, strong English, Mandarin a plus, and the ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in PR, communications or marketing.
• Experience in a multinational company is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin for China market is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; basic graphic design skills a plus.
• Ability to manage time and workload under deadlines.
• Organized, detail-oriented and proactive.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute media communication plans, including strategy, targets and budget.
• Coordinate with PR agency and internal teams to drive results and monitor budget/quality.
• Monitor daily news and support market research across media and competitors.
• Prepare press releases, byline articles, speeches, and press materials.
• Create PR assets with internal branding and external agency input.
• Contribute content to corporate communications and social media.
• Prepare competitive analyses and reports with opportunities and recommendations.
• Coordinate media events logistics, exhibitions, open days, press tours.
• Coordinate photo sessions for events.
• Handle press inquiries and maintain relationships with key media.
• Evaluate partnerships and sponsorships and manage admin for sponsorships.
• Distribute media materials including gifts and samples.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to research, prepare and pitch releases to media and KOLs.
