Job summary

Percept Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer in Singapore to own electrical/hardware development from circuit design to prototype bring-up, testing and validation.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, independence, and rapid contribution with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in hardware product development, strong PCB design and DC-DC converter experience, and solid knowledge of analogue and power electronics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in electrical/electronic hardware development.
• Hands-on PCB design, prototype bring-up, testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with DC-DC converter design and validation.
• Strong analogue/digital circuit knowledge and power electronics.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Willingness to work in Singapore and be onsite.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical hardware, focusing on power circuits and DC-DC converters.
• Perform circuit calculations, topology selection, and component sizing.
• Manage PCB development from schematic capture to layout and bring-up.
• Develop power distribution, regulation and protection circuits.
• Test, troubleshoot and validate PCBs and power assemblies.
• Create test procedures and acceptance criteria for hardware.
• Investigate failures and implement design improvements.
• Address EMC, reliability, and testability requirements.
• Collaborate with system, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
• Maintain BOMs, calculations, test reports and release docs.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
