Search Staffing Pte Ltd is representing a client seeking a Senior Power Electrical Engineer (Sustaining) to own in-production engineering for SMPS products, driving reliability, quality, cost and manufacturability improvements. The role requires leading root cause analysis, lifecycle management, and cross-site production support across global manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Approximately 8 years in electrical/electronic product development or sustaining engineering.
• Strong analogue, power and digital fundamentals.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret circuits and stresses.

Responsibilities

• Own in-production engineering for SMPS products to improve reliability, quality, cost and manufacturability.
• Lead root cause analysis and lifecycle management across global sites.
• Oversee product testing, failure analysis, design improvements, quality and reliability matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain SWPS products throughout lifecycles.
• Perform debug and verification including EMI pre-scans and safety tests.
• Develop test plans and conduct hands-on tests on circuits and components.
• Drive value engineering and supplier qualification without performance loss.
• Collect data, generate test reports, and document results.
• Design test systems with software and hardware for test automation.
• Conduct FMEA to identify high-risk electrical designs and mitigate risks.
• Perform root cause analysis and derive countermeasures.
