Job summary

TRINITY CONSULTING SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a senior PostgreSQL/Sybase DBA to manage and optimize database environments in a production Run/Ops setup.

You will define security policies, implement HA/DR options, and drive database deployment, migration, and monitoring. 6–8 years of relevant experience and strong scripting skills (Python, T-SQL, shell) are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT/CS or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of PostgreSQL/Sybase DBA experience.
• Knowledge of IT security domains.
• Hands-on experience administering DB technologies.
• Experience in Run/Operations production environments.
• Experience in defining, implementing, and enforcing database security policies.
• Experience in large enterprise environments, preferably in financial organizations.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining database servers and processes.
• Experience with HA/DR options for PostgreSQL/Sybase.
• Deployment, integration and administration of DB components.
• Experience defining, designing and configuring database solutions for business needs.
• Deployment, upgrade and troubleshooting of PostgreSQL/Sybase solutions.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, T-SQL, shell).
