Job summary

Franklin Templeton in Singapore is seeking an Analyst - Portfolio and Risk Analytics to join the Templeton Global Investments team. You'll work with the investment team to review portfolio exposures and integrate analysis into fund management, reporting to the Head of Portfolio and Risk Analytics.

The role requires strong quantitative skills, experience in investment risk or quantitative analytics, and ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• FRM and/or CFA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an investment risk or quantitative analytics role.
• Relevant buy-side experience.
• Experience communicating complex financial topics to non-experts.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to analyze portfolio risks versus benchmarks.
• Engage with Portfolio Managers to explain risk exposures for integration.
• Develop deep risk coverage expertise for EM and DM equities.
• Collaborate with Franklin Templeton’s independent risk team.
• Support technology infrastructure for model portfolios and analytics.
• Partner with risk, technology, and others to improve systems and processes.
