Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a qualified chemical engineer to oversee production scheduling and manufacturing operations at our Singapore facility.

The role focuses on establishing process parameters to improve quality, stability, and productivity, while identifying root causes of issues and implementing cost-reducing improvements. The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Chemical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in chemical handling and electroplating.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably chemical handling.
• Experience in electroplating sector and silver spot plating is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production scheduling and manufacturing operations.
• Establish process parameters to improve quality, stability, and productivity.
• Identify root causes of process, material, throughput, and quality issues.
• Implement solutions to improve output, reduce cycle time, and lower costs.
• Maintain work instructions, drawings, BOM, and product documentation.
• Drive productivity projects, including automation, tooling, and fixture improvements.
• Conduct training on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement in product quality, yield, and technology.
