Job summary

PATHSOURCE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to deploy and operate the ingestion and distributed-storage layer of a large-scale on-premise data platform.

This contract role is six months with potential extension or conversion based on performance. You will containerise with Docker, run on Kubernetes, build production APIs and libraries in Python, and implement OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and RBAC for identity and access control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software, backend or platform-engineering experience.
• Advanced Python experience with reusable components.
• Production APIs or microservices experience.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and RBAC.
• Docker and Kubernetes production experience required.
• Strong testing, CI/CD, security and documentation practices.
• On-premise or hybrid deployment experience.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade platform services and APIs.
• Develop authentication with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and RBAC.
• Implement identity propagation across components.
• Build and maintain Model Context Protocol endpoints.
• Containerise services with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes.
• Integrate services with data, observability and security components.
• Write automated tests and deployment documentation.
• Troubleshoot reliability, security and production issues.
